BAKED BY A BRUNETTE

For me dessert is always the best part of a meal and would be the only part of a meal, if I could get away with it. Just imagine 3 courses of different desserts!

 

I cannot pick one favourite dessert but in the winter love a warm molten chocolate pudding with custard and chocolate sauce. In Autumn it has to be apple, cinnamon and sultana crumble with custard using freshly picked apples from Sandringham. Summer means strawberries and they are great with fresh cream in a sponge (see my simple sponge recipe) but eton mess is another favoruite. Spring is the season of my brithday so that means a big family meal at our home and I always make a super easy banoffee pie!
