CHOCOLATE BISCUITS

 

These are biscuits are super easy and will make great presents. Why not use a cutter to shape them into Christmas trees and decorate with icing and silver balls to create beautiful baubles and tinsel!

 

Ingredients


100g self raising flour
25g cocoa powder
50g caster sugar
100g butter

Method- makes approximately 12


1. Preheat the oven to 170C
2. Grease and line a baking tray
3. Cream the butter and sugar together until light and fluffy
4. Sieve the cocoa powder and flour into the creamy mixture
5. Stir until a stiff paste is formed
6. Roll the mixture on a lightly floured surface to about 0.5cm thick
7. Use a shape cutter of your choice or roll the mixture into balls and flatten if you have no cutters
8. Place the biscuits on the prepared tray and bake for 10 minutes
9. Cool on a wire rack
